Finals week.
Finals.
this word is one of the worst words ever recorded.
even though the worst ones are over, I'm still in the computer lab working on a project that's due tomorrow.
DUE TOMORROW.
so I'll be up all day/night.
and I can't have coffee.
Wanna know why?
Because I drank so much yesterday it made me sick.
I just realized, that this is how I'm going to die. This. Right here.
so, I hear Christmas is coming.

Nostalgia
Does life ever pause for anyone else, and you just get stuck in nostalgia for a moment,
I mean its been happening a lot to me lately.
I'll be somewhere and suddenly just get sucked down memory lane.
I mean sometimes its in the depths of childhood thinking about my fear of bees passion for peanut butter.
others its high school, senior year-thinking how relationships have dwindled, and trying to fathom how I got to where I am.
Bizarre.
But then of course I wake up, drool included, looking around thinking "that's new."
What causes this? Am I desiring for something to be like it was? Do I miss it? Because I reall don't think I do.
Maybe this is just keeping my brain fresh, so one day I don't forget my name.

Halloween to Hell Week and such....
Halloween, such a speedy time.
I looked like this on the Saturday before Halloween:

And my friends:

ok. then.....I left that party, and went driving with some friends, where somone had a bright idea to blare Christmas music. That idea died.
The actual Halloween party was Monday, and that night I went to a party with Elisha and Deeds, and it was fun, DARK, but fun.
we didn't dress up.
Exorcism of Emily Rose followed.
ok.
Peace.

for the weekend.
So this weekend was phenomenal.
I gave Michael, Lauren, and Deeds the Roanoke experience. the Mill Mtn. Zoo, nuff said,
of course I took them downtown to center-in-the-square, and the food court, downtown walking, and then the mall.
Below: Deeds Llama-ing with the....llama.
Us with weird mirror....

At the mall we met Josh, we were worried with visions of him lying in ditch somewhere, but he showed up, and then to Hollywood's for some real-good local food. I had dreams about that brownie.
I love having planned things to do, and then everything works out perfectly.
the next day, I went grocery shopping and bought soup, and then went out with Abs and Halley to Shanghai, for some chowing on chinese. An autopsy of an unfortunate crustacean was involved. But fun. My fortune was baad and generic, something about having good luck, I mean c'mon!
this was a lot longer, but thanks to internet blogs and slow wireless connection it didnt work,
sad sad story.

in the middle
It's already the middle of the semester.
Things have slowed down alot this semester, I don't go out and do as much as I did previous semesters. Mainly because I have homework. And when I say I have homework, its A LOT.
But there are a lot of new things.
Uh, I have a new baby nephew.
I have no job.
I read a lot.
I'm constantly tired.
My jaw pops when I move it.
and.....
my life is boring.

This is not good.
I skipped Copy Writing again this morning.
This skipping of classes is becoming a problem.
I seriously don't know what to do.
And don't say "just go to class" its just NOT that easy.
At least I had coffee.

Recap of Weeks 1-3
Wow, so this was supposed to be updated like weekly.
Yeah that didn't happen.
But I really need to do this, so everybody can keep up to date with whats happinging with me (I know you want to.) And I figured this was a good way.
So Semester 3 began.
And, it's different. I'm different
I'm hanging out with different people, I've lost my keen ability to keep in touch with people, and I still live on the east campus.
I guess each year is different, and a lot of it depends on where you're living and who's around you. Which means you have to work at maintaining your relationships. Every relationship requires attention.
Ok, so I'm taking 17 hrs, of the most boring classes this semester.
And all of these require reading. Lots of it.
So somehow that equation equaled me quitting my job.
I just couldn't take the American Eagle way anymore, I have been at that job almost three years, and working at Hollister this summer did not help. If I never fold another t-shirt again I'll be fine.
Plus, I was missing out on stuff like church, and eating.
I quit the newspaper too. Next semester I promise (although the one story I did was on the front page. whoopee.)
And it's week 3 of school, and I am already Master Skipper of Classes.
One day I skipped four classes in a row. And no good reason for it. None. Zero.
Also, its week 3, and I've been sick.
uh, lets see I went and saw Chesterton play last weekend (Go Dan and Brent!)
I went to Lindz's for a nice cookout, at her pad.
Hung out and caught up with people.
Uh, what else, what else...
Ok, brain's fried.
peace.

So this didnt go as planned...
I really wanted to make this so up to date with info, but it didn't happen.
I blame summer laziness.
The summer's almost over and I've hardly made any money working.
Most of it I blew in DC and in florida.
DC!
Some friends from home were going and I just tagged along.
It worked out really well, because we used my neighbor's apt he has up there for free. It's all about saving the money these days.
We got up there and we just had fun doing the nerdy stuff: museums, monuments, buildings, .......zoo.
Going though I learned two things.
One was enjoying just the actual company of your friends makes life so much better.
Two: doing the history lesson is actually better when older. What I mean is don't bring your screaming baby to see the Bill of Rights. Useless.
I really didn't look at the Bill of Rights that long though. Maybe two minutes or less.

The Lethargic Summer.
Its hard to believe I've been out of school for almost a month.
And I honestly felt like I have done nothing.
I went camping and I wake up at 8am to go to Hollister.
Thats about it.
I started yet another blog.
At least I'm being productive.
